Scenic Overview
Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area consists of Shuangqiao Valley, Changping Valley, Haizi Valley, and the four main peaks. The highest, Yaomei Peak, rises to 6,250 meters and is known as “China’s Matterhorn.”
- Shuangqiao Valley – The most concentrated scenic views; glaciers, meadows, and snow peaks are easily accessible by sightseeing bus. Ideal for visitors with limited time.

- Day Hike – Hike to Muluozi and return. Easy and suitable for beginners.
- Cross-Valley Trek – Traverse from Changping Valley to Bipeng Valley in 2–3 days, crossing high-altitude passes. For experienced trekkers only.
2.Haizi Valley Trek
- Distance: About 20 km in total
- Altitude: Starting at 3,200 m, highest point around 4,500 m
- Duration: 1–2 days
- Highlights: Dahuazi Lake, Huahuazi Lake, and glittering snow-capped peaks
- Suggested Itineraries:
- Visit between late summer and autumn, camp by the lake, and capture the magical “golden sunrise” over the snow peaks reflected in the water.
