Xishan – Cha Ma Hua Jie – Chuxiong – LongTable Banquet – Chuxiong
After breakfast, depart at 09:00 for Yunnan’s only national-level tourist resort, [Xishan Scenic Area] (scenic area shuttle bus at your own expense, 60 RMB/person). Located more than 10 kilometers west of Kunming, it is known as “the best scenic spot in central Yunnan,” with an altitude of up to 2350 meters. [Xishan Longmen] is carved into the steepest cantilever of Xishan, entirely by ancient hand-carved engineering. The project was massive and took a long time, especially the Wenquxing and Kuixing Pavilions carved into the original stone, which are breathtaking. It is the best place to overlook Dianchi Lake and the panoramic view of Kunming. Climbing Longmen greatly enhances your experience. Feel the breeze of Dianchi Lake, listen to the legend of Sleeping Beauty, and enjoy the blue sky and white clouds of Yunnan.
At the foot of Xishan Mountain lies the [Tea Horse Flower Street]: a vibrant scene reminiscent of the Republic of China era, offering a variety of Yunnan delicacies and exquisite handicrafts. Enjoy a tranquil retreat amidst the picturesque scenery of Dianchi Lake, or savor Yunnan’s unique snacks amidst the bustling atmosphere of the Tea Horse Flower Street… Afterwards, travel to [Dianchi Seagulls] to view the beautiful “Pearl of the Plateau,” Dianchi Lake, and gaze upon Xishan Mountain, known as the “Sleeping Beauty.” Interact with the seagulls that have come from afar. (Special Note: The Dianchi Haigeng Dam is only open from November 1st to March 15th of the following year. Other dates are not included due to seasonal factors. Dianchi Lake is a complimentary attraction; no refunds or replacements will be given if not visited.)
Afterwards, take a bus to Chuxiong. The sacred Yi people’s “Long Street Banquet” begins with the “Fire Worship Ceremony Welcome Ceremony,” where they tell their legendary stories to visitors. If you don’t know how to dance the left-foot dance, let the Yi young men and women teach you—the more fun, the better! (Note: If the banquet is too crowded, the food quality may be affected; a nutritious dinner will become your most cherished travel memory.) Join the hospitable Yi people in a joyous celebration. Afterwards, participate in the “Fire Worship Ceremony and Bonfire Party,” letting laughter accompany you to sleep. After dinner, check into the hotel.

Every step is immersed in nature and poetry. Here, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Erhai Lake, every moment filled with surprise and emotion. Afterwards, visit the historical and cultural city of Dali Ancient City. Five main streets run from south to north, and eight alleys crisscross from west to east, forming a chessboard-like layout. The city still preserves a large number of buildings from the Ming, Qing, and Republican periods, with temples, academies, churches, and other ancient buildings scattered throughout. Follow the ancient, mottled city walls and streets to discover the history and charm of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom. During your free time, you can visit the South Gate, Wuhua Tower, and Honglong Well, and sample a variety of local delicacies such as traditional yogurt, roasted milk fan, tofu with a crispy skin, cold chicken rice noodles, papaya juice, and various plums.

Xinhua Town – Lijiang – Spruce Meadow – Blue Moon Valley – Lijiang Old Town – Lijiang
After breakfast at the hotel at 8:00 AM, we will travel to Xinhua Town, a 4A-level scenic area in Dali. The town is home to various ethnic groups, including Yi, Hui, Lisu, Miao, and Han. Each ethnic group has its own unique customs and traditions, from vibrant ethnic weddings and the humorous “pinching the bride” ceremony to the meaningful traditions of choosing and naming children, and the ancient trade of exchanging a load of grain for a load of pears—all forming a unique “grand garden” of ethnic customs.
Afterwards, we will travel to Lijiang to visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area. We will take the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Spruce Meadow Cableway to enjoy panoramic views of the alpine meadows, lush primeval trees, and the uniquely shaped peaks of the snow-capped mountains. The breathtaking scenery will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated. We will then traverse a primeval forest where you will see tall, straight spruce trees, one after another, forming a vast sea of trees.
Note: 1. In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as suspension of service due to the windy season, cable car maintenance, lack of tickets from the cable car company, or visitor restrictions, resulting in tourists being unable to ride the cable car, our company will refund the cable car fee based on the actual refund situation of the cable car company. Thank you for your understanding. 2. According to the cable car company’s regulations, children exceeding 1.4 meters in height (including 1.4 meters) cannot be guaranteed to purchase tickets on-site during peak season. To ensure that both children and adults can visit normally, children exceeding the height limit should pay the ticket fee in advance when registering: 50 yuan for the ancient maintenance fee + 170 yuan for the mountain entrance fee + 60 yuan for the Spruce Meadow cable car fee + 20 yuan for the handling fee, so that we can make cards in advance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Afterwards, we will visit [Blue Moon Valley] (scenic area shuttle fee 60 yuan at your own expense). Originating from the ancient snow and ice of the snow-capped mountains, the water flows down the cliffs, constantly gathering into mountain streams and brooks, eventually forming a crystal-clear and incredibly sweet river in Blue Moon Valley. On a sunny day, the water is blue, and the valley is crescent-shaped, resembling a blue moon nestled at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Afterwards, you can explore Lijiang Old Town on your own. Small bridges, flowing water, traditional houses, and cobblestone streets… will transport you back in time to a prosperous and peaceful Lijiang Old Town a century ago. Besides strolling through the alleys and enjoying the laid-back atmosphere, you can also discover various delicacies and savor the flavors of Lijiang: golden and crispy fried jelly, sweet and savory Lijiang baba (a type of pancake), unforgettable candied fruits, and sweet and soft Naxi rice cakes… (Lijiang Old Town is an open-air attraction; after your visit, please proceed to your hotel independently.)
