06:00–06:30 – Gather at the designated meeting point and depart from Chengdu for Siguniang Mountain, also known as the “Queen of Sichuan Mountains.”
10:30–15:30 – Arrive and explore Shuangqiao Valley, one of the three main valleys in Siguniang Mountain National Park.
Shuangqiao Valley stretches 34.8 km, covering about 216.6 square kilometers. It features dozens of snow-capped peaks above 5,000 meters, along with pristine sandthorn forests, alpine meadows, and glacial lakes. Major highlights include Renshenguo Meadow, Longzhu Lake, Nianyu Dam, Budala Peak, and the Redwood Forest. Visitors can tour the entire scenic route comfortably by sightseeing bus.
15:30–18:30 – Drive from Siguniang Mountain to Danba County.
18:30–19:30 – Arrive in Danba, check into your hotel, and rest.

08:30–09:00 – Arrive at the Yala Snow Mountain Viewing Platform.
Known in Tibetan as “Xiaxue Yalagabo,” meaning “Eastern White Yak Mountain,” Yala Snow Mountain rises to 5,820 meters and is revered as a sacred mountain by local Tibetans. Its snow-covered summit glistens under the sun, creating a breathtaking scene of pure majesty.
09:00–11:00 – Visit Moshi Park (Heishan Stone Forest).
A 4A-rated national scenic area, Moshi Park is the world’s only high-altitude stone forest and has been hailed as the “Eighth Wonder of China’s Most Beautiful Scenic Highways.” Thousands of dark rock spires and pinnacles rise from the earth, forming surreal black-gray landscapes that change color and shape with light and weather—perfect for photography lovers.
11:30–12:30 – Explore Tagong Grassland.
This vast and serene prairie is home to the famous Tagong Monastery, a sacred site of the Sakya Sect of Tibetan Buddhism known as the “Little Jokhang Temple.” Enjoy panoramic views of Yala Snow Mountain, where snow peaks and grasslands blend harmoniously with temples and white stupas.
13:00–14:00 – Visit Gunong Village, a traditional Tibetan settlement nestled deep within the Tagong Grasslands. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, meadows, and streams, it’s an ideal place to experience authentic Tibetan life and capture stunning snow-and-prairie scenery.
15:00–18:00 – Head to Yuzixi Viewpoint, one of the best panoramic platforms in Western Sichuan. From here, you can see both Yala Snow Mountain and Mount Gongga (Minya Konka)—the “King of Sichuan Mountains.” At sunset, the peaks glow gold in a dazzling “Golden Mountain” phenomenon, beloved by photographers worldwide.
18:00–19:00 – Drive to Xinduqiao.
19:00–20:00 – Arrive and check in at your hotel in Xinduqiao.

10:00–10:30 – Travel along the famous 434 Airport Road, known for its elegant curves and sweeping highland vistas. It’s a favorite photography stop with spectacular views of Mount Gongga and vast alpine pastures.
11:00–12:30 – Arrive at Honghaizi Lake (Red Sea Lake).
Situated at an altitude of 4,200 meters, this crystal-clear alpine lake shines with emerald hues under sunlight. Surrounded by snow mountains, its reflections create a dreamlike mirror landscape that’s a photographer’s delight.
13:30–16:30 – Visit Mugecuo Scenic Area, also known as “Yerenhai” (Wildman Sea) or “Dahaizi.”
One of the largest alpine lakes in northwestern Sichuan, Mugecuo covers 4 square kilometers and features diverse landscapes including Fragrant Grassland, Seven-Color Lake, Rhododendron Canyon, Medicinal Hot Springs, and Honghai Prairie. Here you can enjoy a rare combination of snow mountains, forests, meadows, lakes, waterfalls, and geothermal springs all in one place.
16:30–21:30 – Drive back to Chengdu.
21:30–22:30 – Arrive in Chengdu, marking the end of this unforgettable Western Sichuan journey.
