Glass Bridge, Stronghold & Stream Walk
Your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel for a visit to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Here, you’ll encounter dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, and caves before experiencing the highlight—the world-renowned Glass Bridge. Suspended high above the canyon, it offers both thrilling views and photo opportunities, with transparent and non-transparent sections accommodating different comfort levels. Afterwards, descend to the valley floor by elevator and follow a scenic plank path before enjoying a relaxing boat ride on the emerald waters of Shenquan Lake.
Re-enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and take a cable car to Yellow Stone Stronghold—a vast natural viewing platform surrounded by steep cliffs, offering spectacular views of the park’s quartz sandstone peaks. Keep an eye out for local wildlife such as macaques and pheasants. After descending by cable car, enjoy a refreshing walk along the Golden Whip Stream, known for its clear water, rich vegetation, and connections to the classic Chinese story Journey to the West.

Visit the Guinness World Record-recognized 72 Tujia Stilted Buildings, the world’s tallest cluster of ethnic architecture. Explore intricate wooden carvings, traditional bluestone paths, and learn about Tujia culture and craftsmanship. The site also offers a variety of local culinary specialties, from cured meats to hand-pulled noodles.
