Arrive in Chongqing
Welcome to Chongqing, China’s famous Mountain City! Upon arrival at the airport or train station, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your downtown hotel in a comfortable private vehicle, assisting with check-in.

Chongqing-Wulong
After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel for a day exploring Chongqing’s cityscape and Yangtze River culture.
Your first stop is the Three Gorges Museum. Its extensive collection tells the story of the Yangtze River, the formation of the Three Gorges, and Chongqing’s 3,000-year journey to becoming a major metropolis. Right outside, admire the impressive classical architecture of the People’s Assembly Hall.
Next, experience the city like a local by riding Metro Line 2. Get off at Liziba Station to witness the famous sight of a train passing directly through a residential building—a unique feat of urban design made possible by Chongqing’s mountainous terrain.
Then, visit E’ling Park to enjoy a panoramic view of the city’s forest of modern skyscrapers nestled between two winding rivers, a scene that has earned Chongqing the nickname “Little Hong Kong.”
After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Xiannv Town, Wulong (approx. 3-hour drive).

Wulong Karst Geology Park Day Trip
Today, explore the Wulong Karst National Geological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its giant sinkholes, natural bridges, caves, and as a filming location for Transformers 4.
Upon arrival, a shuttle will take you to the Three Natural Bridges, Asia’s largest cluster of natural stone arches. Descend by elevator into the valley to hike among these magnificent bridges, waterfalls, and caves, passing the filming site of the movie Curse of the Golden Flower.
Next, visit Longshuixia Fissure Gorge. Enjoy a scenic walk along streams, through narrow cliffs, and past lush forests in this refreshing natural setting.
After returning to Chongqing, visit the iconic Hongya Cave. This stunning 11-story wooden structure built into the hillside is beautifully illuminated at night—perfect for a leisurely stroll and photos.
You will then be transferred to your hotel.

Chongqing-Xi’an
After breakfast, you will be driven to the railway station for the high-speed train to Xi’an (approx. 5.5 hours). Upon arrival, your local guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in a private vehicle.
The remainder of the day is free for you to begin exploring this ancient capital at your own pace.

Xi’an City Tour: Terracotta Warriors Visit
After breakfast, take a scenic drive (approx. 40 km) to the Terracotta Army, one of the world’s most awe-inspiring archaeological discoveries. Built for China’s first emperor, this underground army of over 8,000 life-sized soldiers, horses, and chariots lay buried for over two millennia.
After lunch, return to Xi’an to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda at Da Ci’en Temple. This 64.5-meter pagoda was built to house Buddhist scriptures brought from India. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to try on traditional Hanfu attire for a memorable photo session.
In the evening, explore the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-Bright City. This vibrant district truly comes alive at night with magnificent lighting, offering a perfect atmosphere to stroll and imagine the grandeur of ancient China’s Tang Dynasty.

Departure from Xi’an
After breakfast, begin your day with a cultural visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, notable for surviving numerous earthquakes over 1,300 years. Stroll through the surrounding park to the nearby Xi’an Museum, which houses a rich collection of artifacts including jade, porcelain, and Buddhist statues.
Next, explore the Ancient City Wall, China’s largest and best-preserved city wall. Enter through the historic Hanguang Gate to see Tang Dynasty ruins before walking or renting a bike (extra cost) along the top for panoramic views of the old and new city.
Your final stop is the vibrant Muslim Quarter, where you can sample local snacks and explore narrow lanes filled with food stalls and shops reflecting the area’s unique culture.
After your visit, you will be escorted to the airport or train station for your onward journey, marking the end of your Xi’an tour.
