Chongqing City Tour: Drive to Wulong
After breakfast, meet your guide and driver at the hotel to begin your day exploring Chongqing.
First, visit the historic Longmenhao Old Street, a six-level lane preserving traditional architecture. Wander its alleys for glimpses of the past and contrasting city views. Then, ascend to the “Eye in the Clouds” Observation Deck (520m) for a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Chongqing.
Next, experience the city’s unique urban design by riding Metro Line 2 to Liziba Station, famous for the train passing through a residential building.
After the tour, your driver will transfer you to your hotel in Wulong’s Xiannvshan Town (approx. 3–3.5-hour drive). The rest of the day is free for you to explore the local area.

Hong Ya Cave,Chongqing
Wulong Karst Geology Park Day Trip
Today, you will explore the UNESCO-listed Wulong Karst National Geological Park, famous for its giant sinkholes, natural bridges, and caves—and as a filming location for Transformers 4.
Upon arrival, a shuttle will take you to the Three Natural Bridges, Asia’s largest cluster of natural stone arches. Descend by elevator into the valley to hike among these colossal bridges, waterfalls, and caves, passing filming sites from the movie Curse of the Golden Flower.
Next, visit Longshuixia Fissure Gorge. Walk along streams, through narrow cliffs, and past lush forests in this natural “oxygen bar.”
After returning to Chongqing, visit the iconic Hongya Cave. This 11-story wooden structure built into the hillside is beautifully illuminated at night—a perfect spot for photos and a stroll.
You will then be transferred to your hotel.

Wulong Three Natural Bridges

Today, you will fly from Chongqing to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport (approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, your local guide and driver will meet you and transfer you directly to Huanglong National Park (a 1-hour drive). Note: As flights from Chongqing are not always available (especially in low season), this journey may include a stop in Chengdu followed by a high-speed train transfer.
Huanglong National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famed for its spectacular travertine terraces—vivid, multi-colored pools formed over millennia. The golden-hued landscape winds through the Min Mountains like a “Yellow Dragon,” set against the backdrop of the towering Xuebao Peak (5,588m).
The park’s highlight is the stunning Five-Color Ponds at the valley’s top (3,556m), where hundreds of brilliant pools resemble scattered emeralds. The area is also home to snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, ancient forests, and rare wildlife like giant pandas.
To maximize your time, you will take a cable car to the upper section and enjoy a scenic downhill hike (approx. 3 hours) past the major sights. After the visit, you will be driven to your hotel near Jiuzhaigou (approx. 2 hours).

After breakfast, your guide will accompany you for a full-day exploration of Jiuzhaigou National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its ethereal landscape.
Once home to nine secluded Tibetan villages, Jiuzhaigou is celebrated for its breathtaking alpine lakes, multi-tiered waterfalls, and vibrant forests. Its turquoise and emerald waters, set against dramatic mountain peaks, create a scene of unparalleled natural beauty.
Visiting is convenient and relaxed. An efficient sightseeing bus system connects the park’s three main valleys (Rize, Zechawa, Shuzheng). Your guide will organize a flexible route based on your interests and energy, leading you to iconic spots like Nuorilang Waterfall, Five-Color Pond, and Five Flowers Lake at a comfortable pace.
After a day immersed in this natural wonder, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel.
