Beijing Day Tour: Tiananmen Square-Forbidden City-Mutianyu Great Wall
Your Beijing adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel. Our first stop is Tiananmen Square, China’s most iconic public space. From here, we’ll walk through Tiananmen Gate into the Forbidden City for an in-depth cultural tour. This UNESCO site is the world’s largest wooden palace complex, famous for its golden roofs, red walls, and the impressive 250-ton Dragon and Cloud stone carving—an artistic masterpiece symbolizing imperial power.
In the afternoon, we’ll drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most scenic and best-preserved sections. The 20–30 minute walk up is highly recommended, offering beautiful mountain views and seasonal landscapes. At the top, you can explore ancient watchtowers, touch centuries-old bricks, and admire the clever defensive design of the battlements.
After your Great Wall visit, we’ll return you to your hotel—or, if you prefer, drop you off at Houhai’s lakeside bars and Hutong alleys to enjoy Beijing’s evening vibe at your own pace.
