Lanzhou – Bingling Lake – Ganga Secret Land – Xiahe
After gathering in Lanzhou in the morning, we drive through Yongjing County and enjoy the stunning “most beautiful coastline of the Northwest” — the plateau lake view from Bingling Lake / Liujiaxia Bridge Observation Deck (approx. 30 minutes).
Then we stop at Bafang Shisan Xiang in Linxia to taste local Hui cuisine.
In the afternoon, we arrive at Ganga Secret Land (around 3 hours). Located at the heart of the Ganga Grassland, this natural pasture becomes a colorful paradise in summer, covered with wildflowers under vast blue skies.
We first visit Octagonal Ancient City, a West Xia Dynasty fortress with over 1,000 years of history, strategically located on the border of Qinghai and Gansu.
Then admire Baishiya Cliffs, resembling pieces of the Great Wall embedded in the grasslands.
Afterwards, we return to Xiahe and check in to the hotel for free time and rest.

Xiahe – Labrang Monastery – Sangke Grassland – Langmusi
After breakfast, visit the world-renowned Tibetan Buddhist academy — Labrang Monastery (approx. 3 hours). Walk along the world’s longest prayer corridor and follow a monk guide to explore golden-roofed temples while listening to Buddhist teachings. This is the spiritual cradle known as “Little Tibet.”
Next, travel across the beautiful summer pasture Sangke Grassland (approx. 30 minutes), where you can ride horses and enjoy Tibetan lifestyle and scenery.
Continue to Guomang Wetland (approx. 30 minutes), the source conservation area of Tao River, the largest tributary of the Yellow River.
In the afternoon, arrive at Langmusi Town and visit Ganden Ge’erdi Monastery (approx. 2 hours). Explore the sacred body of the Living Buddha and the famed Fairy Cave.
Finally, take a gentle walk through Namo Grand Canyon, surrounded by mountains, forests, and streams. At sunset, climb the small hill behind the monastery for panoramic views of Langmusi.

Langmusi – Awancang Wetland – Lianbaoyezhe – Yellow River First Bend
After breakfast, head to Maqu County — the only county in China named after the Yellow River. Visit the Yellow River Bridge for breathtaking river views.
Continue to Awancang Wetland Park (approx. 1 hour), one of Asia’s most beautiful wetland ecosystems.
Then visit Niangma Monastery (approx. 30 minutes) and turn the world’s largest prayer wheel.
Next, explore the magical granite peaks of Lianbaoyezhe (approx. 3 hours), a dramatic maze of fantasy-like rock formations.
Before sunset, arrive at The First Bend of the Yellow River at Jiuqu (approx. 2 hours), one of the most majestic river bends in China — peaceful waters, golden meadows, and endless skies.
Overnight in Tangke Town.

Tangke – Ruoergai Grassland – Flower Lake – Zaga Na
After breakfast, cross China’s second-largest grassland — Ruoergai Grassland.
Arrive at the “Blue Sea of the Grasslands” — Flower Lake (Huahu) (approx. 2 hours). On sunny days, its waters mirror the sky, clouds, yellow wildflowers, and flocks of birds — creating a peaceful and dreamlike scenery.
Continue towards Zaga Na via the scenic route known as “Gannan Mini Duku Highway”
(Note: this road is closed to vehicles with more than 7 seats. If total guests exceed 5 people, we will take National Highway 213 instead.).
In the afternoon, arrive at Zaga Na, a hidden alpine village and filming location of “Where Are We Going, Dad? Season 5” (approx. 6 hours). The village is surrounded by massive stone mountains forming a natural fortress. The golden sunset view from the top viewpoint is a highlight.
Stay overnight in the Zaga Na village.

Zaga Na – Jiangdie Highway – Hezuo City
Wake up to the magical morning mist rising between Zaga Na’s mountains. After leisure exploration, depart via the adventurous Jiangdie Highway
(Note: limited to vehicles under 7 seats; groups above 5 people will take G213 instead.).
This is the most challenging yet most scenic road of the journey.
Arrive in Hezuo City in the afternoon and visit the iconic Milarepa Buddhist Pavilion (approx. 1 hour) — the only nine-story pavilion in the entire Tibetan region that enshrines the founding masters of all major Buddhist sects.
Check in at the hotel in Hezuo.

Hezuo – Meiren Grassland – Yeliguan Scenic Area – Lanzhou
After breakfast, drive to Meiren Grassland (approx. 30 minutes), a high-altitude meadow famous for its colorful prayer-flag tunnel.
Continue to Yeliguan Town, a charming Jiangnan-style small mountain village on the plateau. Visit Yehaicuo / Yeliguan Tianchi (Heavenly Lake) (approx. 2 hours). The crystal-clear waters reflect nearby cliffs, forests, and clouds — a beautiful blend of nature.
After the visit, return to Lanzhou, arriving in the afternoon.
