You can admire this largest waterfall in Asia from eight different angles—front, back, left, right, above, below, inside, and outside. You can also climb up to the Water Curtain Cave, the residence of the Monkey King, search for the ficus virens that gave Huangguoshu its name, or find the perfect photo angle at the waterfall viewing platform.
Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area showcases the finest examples of karst landforms, featuring magnificent combinations of mountains, water, rocks, trees and caves. Formed from aquatic stone forests, it resembles a natural bonsai garden and looks exactly like a beautiful landscape painting.
Doupotang Waterfall-When flood peaks arrive, this waterfall produces thunder-like roars that can be heard clearly from miles away, earning it the local name “Roaring Waterfall.” This site also served as the filming location for the scene in the 1986 version of “Journey to the West” where Tang Monk and his three disciples crossed the river with their horse.

Guiyang/Anshun-Qingyan Ancient Town-Dushan Tiandong Cave-Dushan/Libo
After breakfast at the hotel, take a coach to visit the ancient Ming and Qing dynasty town, China’s “Jerusalem” – the 5A-level scenic area Qingyan Ancient Town (excluding Qingyan Ancient Town eco-vehicle + insurance 25 RMB/person, mandatory expense please pay separately) (visit time not less than 2 hours). It is a military town built 600 years ago, which still preserves ancient Ming and Qing architecture in excellent condition. The towers, platforms, and temples stand in neat rows, with exquisitely carved beams and painted rafters, renowned as one of China’s most charming small towns. Together with Zhenyuan, Bing’an, and Longli, it is called one of Guizhou’s Four Great Ancient Towns. It is also the filming location for the famous movie “The Missing Gun.”
Various regional specialty snacks are available in the ancient town, such as Qingyan Zhuangyuan Pig Trotters, Qingyan Small Tofu, Cake Congee, Rose Ice Jelly, Qingyan Rice Tofu, etc., all with unique flavors – purchase and taste at your own expense.

After breakfast, take a coach to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area (included: mandatory battery car 40 RMB/person, insurance 10 RMB/person; not included: Yuanyang Lake boat ride 30 RMB/person) – one of China’s most beautiful places; World Heritage – China Karst.
Scenic attractions include:
Wolong Lake: Underground rivers emerge from the cliff base, invisible on the lake surface, only showing as snow avalanche-like rolling waterfalls over the dam. The ceaseless flow of channel water makes one feel the Wolong River stirring beneath the lake.
Cuigu Waterfall: With a drop of over 60 meters, it appears like a jade belt hanging between mountains from afar. Up close, water cascades down the mountain slope, splashing spray and mist like dragons descending the mountain – refreshing and pleasing to the eye.
68-Tier Dropping Waterfalls: Experts confirm that such numerous and dense waterfalls and cascades are rare nationwide. Layer upon layer of waterfalls pour down with gurgling and rushing sounds, each with different forms and spectacular sights.
Laya Waterfall: The splashing spray drifts and floats gracefully, giving visitors a refreshing coolness and aesthetic enjoyment that washes away travel heat and fatigue, bringing instant relief and invigoration.
Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge: Located at the start of the scenic area, the area’s name derives from this bridge.
Then proceed to the Southeast Guizhou’s pristine Miao ethnic village by scenic battery car (4 rides 20 RMB/person + insurance 10 RMB/person, at your own expense!). Immerse yourself in the daily life of the Miao people. Enjoy Xijiang’s landscape : Unique stilted wooden houses cascade along mountain slopes in layered magnificence. Here you’ll not only witness the enduring history of China’s Miao culture but also capture the poetic charm of the Miao capital! Viewing Platform overlooks the entire Miao village, where the Baishui River divides the settlement like a jade belt, with villages spectacularly built on 70-degree slopes. The entire scene resembles a captivating painting that lingers in memory; afterward, transfer to the hotel for check-in!

Xijiang Miao Village – Transfer to Station/Airport

Witness the morning scene of cooking smoke rising over Xijiang Thousand Households Miao Village, with the gentle flow of the stream creating a serene, otherworldly picture of idyllic contentment.
Xijiang Ancient Street Located at the heart of the Thousand Households Miao Village, Xijiang Ancient Street consists of two main commercial lanes where shops and restaurants—mostly decorated in traditional Miao style—are concentrated. As you wander through the ancient street, you’ll see Miao wooden houses covering the surrounding high mountains.
Gage Ancient Path “Gage,” in the Miao language, means the small alleys of the Miao village. Along the Gage Ancient Path, you’ll find many cultural spots that are a must for visitors: “Origin of Xijiang,” which testifies to the earliest history of Xijiang; the “Family Sacrificial Bridge,” showcasing the ancient Miao tradition of bridge worship; as well as live cultural displays such as ancient song performances, antiphonal love songs, silver jewelry crafting, and rice wine brewing.
Pastoral Landscape This area, with its layered terraces and numerous waterwheels, is the granary of Xijiang Thousand Households Miao Village. It has nurtured the Miao people and stands as a testament to their diligence and wisdom. After the visit, board the coach for the return trip to Guiyang, marking the end of a delightful journey!

1、The above itinerary sequence is for reference only. Our company reserves the right to adjust the order of visits while ensuring the inclusion of the three main attractions (Huangguoshu, Xiaoqikong, and Xijiang) based on local scenic area crowd conditions. Such adjustments may involve changes in accommodation locations but will not compromise the accommodation standards or reduce sightseeing time. Additionally, the complimentary attraction Qingyan Scenic Area may be replaced with Qianling Mountain, Tianhe Lake, or Danzhai Wanda Town based on actual circumstances.
2、In the event of attraction closures due to force majeure circumstances, the travel agency is entitled to substitute alternative attractions.
