At China Dragon Travel, we aim to provide a safe, transparent, and convenient booking experience for travelers from around the world. This page explains our accepted payment methods, deposit requirements, payment schedule, and cancellation & refund policies.

Payment Methods

We accept several secure payment methods to make your booking process easier.

Alipay is widely used throughout China and supports international credit card payments through its international payment services.

This payment method is convenient for travelers who are already using Alipay or wish to pay by credit card through Alipay.

Method 4: WeChat Pay

WeChat Pay is another popular and secure payment method in China.

Travelers can use WeChat Pay for deposits and remaining payments.

For travelers who prefer bank transfer, payments can be made directly to our company account:

Deposit and Payment Schedule

To ensure your Tibet travel permit application, transportation arrangements, and tour preparation can be completed smoothly, we require payments according to the following schedule.

1. Tibet Travel Permit Deposit

A deposit of RMB 1,000 per person is required.

This deposit is used as a preparation fund for processing your Tibet Travel Permit (Tibet Entry Permit) and related travel arrangements.

Once your Tibet Travel Permit has been approved, we will arrange delivery of the permit documents to:

• Your hotel in Chengdu or Chongqing before departure, or
• Your designated address / personal delivery location

2. Payment Two Months Before Departure

For regular Tibet tours, travelers are required to:

• Submit all required documents at least 2 months before departure
• Pay 50% of the remaining tour balance

This payment is necessary because we need to arrange and prepay important travel services, including:

• Train tickets
• Flight tickets (if requested)
• Hotel reservations
• Transportation arrangements
• Other travel preparations

3. Final Payment Upon Arrival in Lhasa

After you arrive in Lhasa and our guide and driver meet you at the designated location, the tour officially begins.

The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the tour.

Accepted payment methods for the final balance include:

• Alipay
• WeChat Pay
• UnionPay card payment
• Company bank transfer

Payment Confirmation and Receipt

Once our finance department confirms your payment, we will issue an official company receipt and send it to you for your records.

Changing or Postponing Your Travel Date

If you need to change or postpone your travel dates, please inform our customer service team as early as possible.

For standard Tibet tours:

• Cancellation made 2 months or more before departure: Full deposit refund available.

For customized or special routes, including:

• Sichuan–Tibet Highway tours
• Qinghai–Tibet Highway tours
• Ngari Grand Loop tours
• Other customized Tibet adventures

Cancellation must be made at least 3 months before departure to receive a full deposit refund.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that unexpected situations may sometimes require you to cancel your trip. Our refund policy is designed to be fair while considering the non-refundable costs that may already have been paid during the preparation process, such as Tibet Travel Permit processing fees and advance reservations.

Cancellation 2 Months or More Before Departure (For regular Tibet tours), you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

Cancellation Within 2 Months Before Departure

If you cancel your trip less than 2 months before departure, the refund amount may be reduced based on expenses already incurred on your behalf, including but not limited to:

• Tibet Travel Permit processing costs
• Pre-paid hotel reservations
• Transportation arrangements
• Other non-refundable travel services

Each case will be reviewed individually. Please contact our customer service team for a detailed assessment.

Flight and Train Ticket Policy

If you require assistance booking flights or train tickets, we are happy to help arrange them.

Please note:

• Flight and train ticket costs are not included in your tour price
• These tickets are paid separately from your tour fees
• Cancellation and refund conditions for tickets depend on the policies of airlines and railway operators

Important Notes

• All payments should be confirmed with China Dragon Travel before completing your booking.
• Please keep your payment receipt or transaction record.
• Travel arrangements can only be finalized after the required payments and documents have been received.
• Tibet travel regulations may require advance preparation, so early booking is highly recommended.

China Dragon Travel reserves the right to update this Payment & Refund Policy when necessary to reflect changes in travel regulations, service costs, or operational requirements.
